Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 September 2026 · Effective: 24 September 2026

1. Introduction and acceptance of terms

Welcome to Painpoint Finder ("Painpoint Finder", "we", "us", "our"). We are Junhui Cai, an individual / sole trader operating under the laws of the People's Republic of China.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the research reports and related services we provide at https://ppfinder.dev (the "Service").

By placing an order, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organisation you represent.

Important: if you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service description

2.1 What we provide

Painpoint Finder provides made-to-order research reports. You tell us a niche, product category, or customer segment; we research publicly available conversations in that niche and deliver a short written report containing quoted findings, links to the original public sources, recurring patterns, and practical angles for product, offer, or copy decisions.

The Service is a digital, intangible deliverable supplied electronically. There is no physical shipment and no customer account or login.

2.2 Nature of the Service

The Service is a research and information product. It is not consulting, legal, medical, financial, or investment advice, and it does not constitute a promise or guarantee of commercial outcome. We do not promise that any idea, niche, or angle identified in a report will be profitable, viable, or free from competition. Decisions you take on the basis of a report remain your own.

2.3 How the research is produced

Our research draws on publicly available posts, comments, and discussions in public online communities. We use software, including third-party AI models, to help collect, group, and summarise that public material. We aim to quote accurately and to link to the original source so that you can inspect the underlying conversation yourself.

3. Orders and eligibility

There is no account registration. To order, you complete a one-time purchase and provide the niche or segment you want researched, together with a contact email address.

You agree to provide accurate and sufficiently specific information. If the scope you provide is too broad, ambiguous, or based on a market we cannot realistically research from public sources, we may contact you to narrow it, or decline the order and refund it in full before any work begins.

We may refuse or cancel any order where we suspect fraud, abuse, or a breach of Section 10.

4. What you are buying

Each purchase is a single, one-time research report covering one niche or customer segment.

5. Billing and payment

5.1 Single purchase authorisation

Each purchase is a one-time transaction. By completing a purchase, you authorise our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method the amount displayed at checkout. We do not store your payment method and we cannot charge it again without a new purchase initiated by you.

5.2 Payment processor and Merchant of Record

Waffo Pancake is our payment processor and acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. This means Pancake is the legal seller of record for the transaction, handles the payment, and is responsible for applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes. Payment card data is processed entirely by Pancake and is never stored on our systems.

The name that appears on your card or bank statement is set by Pancake; if you do not recognise a charge, please contact us before raising a dispute (see Section 8).

5.3 Taxes

Prices are displayed at checkout. Where required by applicable law, taxes are collected and remitted by the Merchant of Record.

6. Delivery

We deliver the report by email to the address you provide at checkout. Our target is to deliver within 7 business days of your order, and in any event within 14 business days.

If we have not delivered within 14 business days and you have not received a delivery estimate from us, you may request a full refund under Section 7.2.

You are responsible for providing a working email address and for checking spam or promotions folders. If delivery fails because the address you supplied is incorrect or unreachable, we will attempt to resend once on request; if that also fails, the order is considered delivered in substance and the refund policy in Section 7 applies.

7. Refund policy

7.1 General policy

The Service is a digital, made-to-order research deliverable, and under Section 2.2 it is produced specifically for the scope you supply. Because the deliverable is intangible and prepared on request, purchases are generally non-refundable once the report has been delivered — except in the circumstances set out in Section 7.2.

7.2 When a refund is available

A change of mind after delivery, a disagreement with our research conclusions, or an expectation of a specific business result are not grounds for a refund.

7.3 How to request a refund

Email caijunhui02@gmail.com with your order email address, the transaction or order reference, and a short explanation. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued through the original payment channel by the Merchant of Record.

8. Billing disputes

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us at caijunhui02@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We will investigate and respond promptly, and we will not retaliate against a customer for raising a genuine dispute.

9. Output, intellectual property, and your licence

9.1 What you receive

Upon payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the report we deliver for your own internal business purposes, including product, marketing, and positioning decisions.

You may quote short extracts from the report in your own internal documents. You may not resell the report, redistribute it in whole or in substantial part, publish it as a product or dataset, or represent it as your own research output.

9.2 What we retain

We retain all rights in our research methods, question sets, tooling, templates, scoring criteria, and report format. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.

9.3 Third-party material

Reports quote material from public online discussions. That material remains the property of its original authors. Quotation is included for research and commentary purposes with source links so the original context can be inspected.

9.4 Accuracy

Public conversations are opinionated, informal, and sometimes anonymous. Quotes are reproduced as they appear in the source, but we cannot warrant that a public statement is true, representative of a market, or still current by the time you read the report.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service or any report:

We may refuse service or terminate access where we reasonably believe these restrictions have been breached.

11. Data, privacy, and security

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor (Waffo Pancake) and is not stored on our servers.

Order records and correspondence are retained only as long as needed to deliver the Service, handle follow-up, and meet tax and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

12.1 Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF RESEARCH OUTPUTS.

12.2 AI-assisted content disclaimer

Some of the research is produced with the help of automated and AI-assisted tooling. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated, and grouped findings are our interpretation of public statements rather than verified fact. Do not rely on a report for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and verify anything material before acting on it.

12.3 Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAINPOINT FINDER AND JUNHUI CAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Term and termination

These Terms apply from the moment you order and remain in effect while you use the Service. We may refuse service, cancel a pending order, or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if we suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity, or where required by law. If we cancel your order for reasons other than your breach, we will refund it in full. You may contact us at any time at caijunhui02@gmail.com to ask us to close your records, subject to the retention obligations described in Section 11.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before initiating any formal proceedings, please contact us at caijunhui02@gmail.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.

Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.

15. General provisions

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

16. Contact information

For any question about these Terms, about an order, or about billing:

By placing an order or checking "I agree" at checkout, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
